Bishop Patrick J. Zurek gave the opening talk. As the Bishops' Liaison to the Texas Catholic Conference he said he had been inspired by the work of Respect Life Ministries
Dr. Pia de Solenni, keynote speaker, spoke about "Family: Cradle of Life and Love. She stressed the importance of a functioning family in creating a Culture of Life.
Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, spoke on the 'Signs of Success in the Pro-Life Movement'
The annual Servant of Life Award was presented to Msgr. Harold Waldow. Pictured are Bishop Zurek, Deacon Floyd Ashley, and Rita Diller as the winner is announced.

Mary Freund-Braun, Dr. Pia de Solenni, and Paul Braun posed for a picture after the banquet. Mary is the music director at St. Ann's in Canyon. They presented a stirring testimonial.
The fabulous silent auction drew big crowds throughout the evening. The auction netted nearly $7,000 to help Respect Life Ministries.
